Farmer's market

This market is located in Amman in Jordan.

so the land itself is currently a parking that is barely used. it used to be a market that takes place every Friday, and it used to help support the shops around financially, because the market brought people from all over Jordan. After it was relocated from the area these shops took a massive hit and damage, causing some of them to shut down.

the project aims to revive the area again by creating a farmers market, as the are itself lacks food shops. the only food place on that street is a bakery that is 5 min walk away from the land.

based on my observation I felt that the connection between the shops on both side of the street is strong, so I decided to make the market sunk in to keep this strong connection, but the restaurant is on top to act as the landmark for the market itself.
